2010 LPGA ShopRite Classic Ticket Drive
The Section has partnered with the LPGA ShopRite Classic to help raise money for the Greater Philadelphia Junior Golf Foundation. When purchasing tickets to the event guests can select the chartiy of their choice and 50% of the price of the ticket will be donated to their charity. We are asking all of friends to please choose our Foudation so that we can continue to support all of the great organizations in our area that help children and grow the game of golf. TNT Barona Pro-Am: November 15th-18th, 2010
You are invited to participate in the TNT – Philadelphia PGA Pro-Am in magnificent San Diego, Ca, November 15th-18th, 2010. The facilities are first class in every aspect and Barona Resort & Casino recently hosted the Nationwide Tour Championship in November of 2007.
Appearance fee for all professionals bringing a team.
Forster Leads List of Special Award Winners

Each year the Section awards local PGA Professionals for their accomplishments in ten separate categories including the top honor of Golf Professional of the Year. All award winners will be honored at the 2010 Spring Meeting being held at Radnor Valley CC on Monday, March 29th. 
The Section’s top honor of Golf Professional of the Year for the 2009 season was awarded to George Forster of Radnor Valley Country Club. Forster has served as Radnor Valley Country Club’s PGA Head Professional for the past 25 years. Throughout his career, while serving the membership at Radnor Valley, Forster has remained one of the Section’s top tournament players locally and on the National stage. Club Association Continues into 2010

Following the success of the 2009 Club Association initiative, the Philadelphia Section PGA will be continuing the Program during the 2010 season.  Entering its third year the Club Association Program allows facilities throughout the Philadelphia Section to contribute to the growth and development of both the Philadelphia Junior Golf Foundation and Philadelphia Junior Tour.  For more information on the Club Association Program please contact the Section office.
